When is something charged?
Not yet. All four plans are on the waitlist; there is no purchase and no charge.
Can I change the tier later?
Yes. The sign-up is non-binding. You only choose the tier and billing period once it goes live.
What is additional usage?
Pay per use is a separate, voluntary contractual release for usage beyond the quota. It is not a hidden plan feature and not an automatic charge.
What counts toward the context window?
The context window covers not only the last user input. The previous conversation history, uploaded or pasted content, system instructions, tool results and the generated answer also require tokens. The maximum possible file size or pure input length is therefore below the full context window, because space must be reserved for system information and the answer.
How do quotas work?
The account manages your plan, quota and later additional usage. Chat and the products only display them. Enforcement via the API is planned and remains disabled until authorization and usage metering work reliably in one step.
A 5-hour window (Chat and Code combined), a 7-day window (central account display) and a monthly window (quota per billing month) are planned. The limits follow.
